Katie Taylor marked her move from amateur to professional boxing in the perfect manner today, as the Irish native defeated opponent Karina Kopinska with a third round TKO.
After mixing incredible body shots with decent combinations to the head, Taylor consistently showed her technical superiority en route to the fights finish — a blitz that caused the referee to step in and call the fight.

Taylor, who’s mentioned how she would like to be boxing’s version of Ronda Rousey, is set for her next bout to take place on December 10, on the under-card of high profile heavyweight fight Anthony Joshua vs. Eric Molina.
After that, a shot at title gold is likely to be in her future.
“That would be the dream, boxing for a world title in Dublin, or anywhere in Ireland,” Taylor said. “I don’t want to get too carried away, it was only my first fight as a pro, but I plan to do big things in this sport. I hope to be multiple-weight world champion.”
That was a clinical performance @KatieTaylor!
