With last year’s UFC debut inside the auspicious halls of Madison Square Garden dominated by Conor McGregor’s pursuit of a second UFC world title, Irish eyes are fixed this time on Joe Duffy who faces an intriguing battle with James Vick in the headliner of the Fox Sports 1 preliminary card.

The Duffy-Vick clash will be a bout between two of the lightweight division’s finer boxers. Duffy holds a 7-0 record in professional boxing while Vick, a two time Golden Gloves winner, holds a 17-3 record in the amateurs — and, as they both said to TheMacLife.com in Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, neither has any interest whatsoever in bringing the fight to the mat.
