Marlon Vera has defeated Sean O’Malley tonight in Las Vegas, but it won’t be the result that’s remembered.
Towards the end of the first round, as the two were starting to get loose, O’Malley suddenly stumbled on his foot and appeared to suffer an immediate injury. Vera immediately leapt on the up and comer, and got him to the floor, landed a couple of elbows which caused Herb Dean to step in to call the fight.
