Just over three weeks remain until Conor McGregor is once again underneath the lights in Las Vegas and the Dubliner is resolved to put on the type of performance in his third fight with Dustin Poirier which will open up a path towards UFC lightweight gold.
The biggest rubber match in UFC history takes place at UFC 264 on July 11 and comes just months after the pair clashed on ‘Fight Island’ in January — but this time around, McGregor says he will “finish the job”.

“25 days I finish the job,” posted McGregor to Instagram early Thursday along with an image of him landing a right hand to Poirier’s chin from their second fight.
The score between the two currently stands at one win apiece, after McGregor scored a first-round TKO win against he Louisiana native in their clash in September 2014.
This time, the winner will likely position themselves neatly for a crack at the lightweight title currently held by Brazilian veteran Charles Oliveira — and if McGregor’s statement is anything to go by, that is exactly what he plans on doing a little more than three weeks from now.
