Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will rematch next month in Texas, it has been confirmed.

The two fighters, both trailblazers for womens’ boxing, first competed against one another in April 2022 in a Madison Square Garden main event that captivated the boxing world — with Ireland’s Taylor being awarded the split decision victory in which she retained the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO lightweight titles.

Taylor, who is also the undisputed and lineal super lightweight champion, rebounded from her first professional defeat to Chantelle Cameron by winning her rematch with the English boxer in November of last year. Taylor’s super lightweight titles will be on the line against Puerto Rico’s Serrano who has won world titles in an incredible seven different divisions.

A rematch with Serrano, who has won five straight since her loss to Taylor, is generally regarded as the biggest fight currently available in the female boxing categories.

In addition, a WBC welterweight title fight will also take place at the event as champion Mario Barrios fights Abel Ramos across 12 rounds.

The event, which takes place in the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on November 15 and which is to be broadcast live on the Netflix streaming service, will be headlined by an eight-round fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
