Someone in Las Vegas either knows a sure thing or has cash to burn. Or both.
Per a report from the Las Vegas Review Journal, a bettor at the MGM Grand bookies put down $187,847.35 wager to potentially win $4,173.95 on unbeaten Gabriel Flores Jr., who meets Josec Ruiz in a lightweight fight tomorrow Thursday.
According to sportsbook director Jeff Stoneback, the same gambler cashed in a winning ticket for $58,333 and made another $10,000 bet before putting down the $187,000+.
“Must have just gone all in,” Stoneback told the Review.
Flores Jr. is currently 17-0 with six knockouts with an incredibly decorated amateur career.
The price on Flores Jr. has now moved to -5,500, meaning you have to bet $5,500 to win $100.
