Tyson Fury is in confident form ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk this weekend in Saudi Arabia.

Fury suffered the lone defeat of his professional career when he was outpointed via split decision by the Ukrainian world champion in their first meeting back in May in what was the first heavyweight unification bout of this century.

But now ahead of a make-or-break rematch which will once again take place in Riyadh, the ‘Gypsy King’ is confident that the will tie their series at one win apiece late this Saturday night.

“The mission has never been undisputed. It’s never been my mission. It’s been other people’s missions,” Fury told the British broadcaster TNT Sports ahead of the contest.

“My mission is to smash this f***er’s face right in on Saturday night. There’s no chance he can beat me. None.

“I ain’t got a cut this time that I’m nursing. Yeah [I can spar], I can do everything now. I’ve never been as confident in my life of smashing a f***er’s face in than doing it to him on Saturday. Even at 36, when people think he’s f***ed, he will rise like a phoenix from the ashes. I’m going to destroy this f***er on Saturday night, you watch.

Regadless of the outcome, though, Fury (36) said that this will not be the final time that he laces up his gloves.

“No, definitely not. No way. Not in a million years will I walk away after this. No way,” he said.

“What I’m going to do to him, it’s going to be that bad of a beating on Saturday night, he ain’t going to want to have a trilogy. And I’m hoping there’s going to be a trilogy, because all great dance partners have trilogies. Facts. But what I’m going to do to him, he won’t want a trilogy.”
