If Zuffa Boxing is going to start this year, it looks like UFC president Dana White has every intention of starting with a bang.

Today, a report from UK outlet The Telegraph emerged, saying White would be traveling to attend Joshua’s next contest (against Joseph Parker, March 31) and attempt to bring Joshua on board to his new boxing direction. The figures quoted in the report suggested White would be willing to offer a figure as high as $500 million.

Joshua was subsequently asked about that report and — while voicing allegiance to his current promoter Eddie Hearn — made no bones about being interested in working with the UFC honcho should everything make sense.

“I’m interested. We can all work together,” Joshua said, speaking to ESPN. “Remember, mine and Eddie’s relationship is a really good working relationship. And I’m sure Eddie has an interest in working with Dana White. If it’s good business, it makes sense.

:We’ll listen, and 100 percent if it makes sense, we’re all in,” he continued. “So I’m happy that Dana’s coming into the game, hopefully we can add some excitement and we can progress forward and make some more money and make some good fights.”
