They have warred back and forth on social media for years but Darren Till wants to help rival Mike Perry return to winning ways.
Perry, who first came to Till’s attention when the two have a face-to-face exchange moments after Till’s win against Donald Cerrone in Poland some years ago, was defeated by Daniel Rodriguez at last weekend’s UFC event in Las Vegas. It was the fourth loss of Perry’s last five fights and has led to questions about Perry’s status at 170-pounds.
Till, though, doesn’t want to see Perry at the bottom of the welterweight barrel for much longer and took to social media where he put their differences aside and invited Perry and his family to Liverpool, where Perry would train alongside Till at the Team Kaobon gym.
true master of all the arts.
& as humble and deadly as they come!!
If Perry fancies coming here for a few months I would more than be willing to accommodate him and his family and I’m sure my team would feel the same way
Hope whatever he chooses in life he puts him & family 1st x— D (@darrentill2) April 11, 2021
“Got so much time & respect for Perry But here is the main important factor for me No team, NO FOUNDATIONS!!!” wrote Till. “You need a good solid team around you, who are willing to go to great lengths with you. And then your coach, I am lucky enough to not just have a coach but as I believe a true master of all the arts. & as humble and deadly as they come!!

It remains to be seen if Perry will take Till up on his offer, but it would surely increase the opportunities for the two to spar once again, after their infamous spa/spar exchange some time ago.
