Add another big middleweight clash to UFC 230, as up and coming Paulo Costa is set to meet multiple time title contender Yoel Romero at the upcoming New York event.
UFC 230 takes place at Madison Square Garden on November 3. Already reported to be on the card is Luke Rockhold vs. Chris Weidman II, meaning there are multiple 185-pound bouts with title implications.

It’s a huge jump up in competition for Costa, who was last seen defeating Uriah Hall at UFC 226. He is currently undefeated, with a record of 12-0.
For Romero, it’s a return to the cage after his recent five round war with middleweight champion Robert Whittaker. There had been some suggestions the Cuban would be moving up to light heavyweight following numerous issues with making the 185-pound limit, but it seems the UFC had plans to keep him at his current division.
