UFC 216 is just days away, and one of the biggest (both literally and figuratively) characters on the card is a man stepping back in from retirement — Derrick Lewis.
Certainly, that retirement may have just lasted a little over three months, but fans have already voiced their pleasure at having ‘The Black Beast’ back in the Octagon. Prior to his most recent outing — a defeat to Mark Hunt — Lewis had been on a tear at heavyweight, riding a six fight win streak.
While the Hunt loss may have set him back, a win over Werdum could well catapult the man who was close to walking away very near a title shot.
