Ian Machado Garry isn’t the only prospect making a name for himself in the UFC’s middleweight fold.
Jack Della Maddalena, the 27-year-old native of Perth, Australia, has been practically flawless in his UFC run to date, wracking off five straight wins (and other on the Contender Series) as part of a run which has seen him win each of his last fifteen professional mixed martial arts bouts.
One of the 170-pound division’s most exciting fighters, Della Maddalena is the owner of a take-no-sh*t style of fighting as he walks forward throwing hands with little regard for his own safety; a fact which is bore large by the decidedly crooked nose which adorns his face.
Currently ranked 14 in the UFC’s official welterweight ladder, the Aussie will be looking to move towards title contention this weekend in Las Vegas when he takes on his toughest challenge to date, the experienced veteran Kevin Holland in a fight which could steal the show in the T-Mobile Arena this weekend.
And if you needed an excuse to revisit one of his past performances, check out Della Maddalena’s split decision win against Bassil Hafez from this past July below.
