If your nickname is ‘BodyBagz’ you’re probably going to have to deliver on it. 

Luckily for Joe Pyfer, that is essentially what he has done throughout his UFC career thus far. Contender Series alum Pyfer scored the biggest win of his career to date in April when he scored a first-round finish over middleweight veteran Gerald Meerschaert — and doubled down on it just six weeks later by defeating Meerschaert by unanimous decision in a grappling bout.

Pyfer will look to add to his growing reputation when he takes on Abdul Razak Alhassan in this weekend’s co-main event fight in the UFC’s Apex facility outside Las Vegas.
