With just one exception*, Stipe Miocic has defeated every man he has fought in his professional mixed martial arts career.

Miocic, 42, who returns to action later this month in a title bout opposite Jon Jones in the UFC 309 main event from New York City’s Madison Square Garden, is generally regarded as ranking highly on the list of the greatest heavyweight fighters in history. That’s not to say, though, that he has been flawless throughout his career, given that he has been beaten in four of his 24 career fights.

The thing is, Miocic usually has the last laugh. Three of the men that have beaten him — Junior Dos Santos, Francis Ngannou and Daniel Cormier — also hold defeats to the Cleveland native (with only Stefan Struve* being an opponent who has never been defeated by Miocic).

One of those fights came all the way back in May 2017 when Miocic rematched Junior Dos Santos, who had previously scored a unanimous decision over him three years prior, and this time around the Brazilian was dispatched inside the first round.

Ahead of Miocic’s bid to regain the UFC heavyweight title against Jon Jones on November 16, you can check out his finish of Dos Santos below.
