After last weekend’s sojourn to Nashville, the UFC returns to familiar territory in its Apex facility outside Las Vegas for a welterweight showdown between two of the division’s veterans.

Vicente Luque, who was recently on a 10-1 run in the UFC’s 170-pound fold takes on former world champion Rafael Dos Anjos in a bout pivotal for both men if they are to piece together one last run at gold in a talent-rich welterweight division. Luque, a veteran of Sanford MMA in Florida, has come up short in his two most recent bouts against Geoff Neal and Belal Muhammad — a run which came after four successive finishes in the Octagon, including impressive victories against Michael Chiesa and Tyron Woodley.

One of the wins in Luque’s impressive sequence between 2017 and 2021 came against former UFC fighter turned impressive bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry, which you can watch below:
