2019 has already given mixed martial arts fans a veritable bevy of eye-catching knockouts but perhaps none as stunning as the one which occurred in the opening seconds of the Movlid Khaibulaev vs. Damon Jackson during Thursday night’s Professional Fighters League event in Unionsdale, New York.
Khaibulaev, an undefeated Dagestani fighter, connected with a jumping knee square to Jackson’s chin as the American fighter closed the distance, immediately hitting Jackson’s ‘off switch’ and crumpling him to the canvas.

Featherweight fighter Khaibulae improves to 13-0 and earns six points in the PFL’s unique tournament structure. Three-time UFC veteran Jackson, meanwhile, falls to 16-3.
