UFC 294 is all systems go following Friday’s weigh-ins in Abu Dhabi.
All four fighters in the hastily-rearranged two headline fights hit their marks on the scales, with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev registering 155-pounds even while his opponent, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, coming in a half-pound under the championship weight at 154.5 pounds.
In the co-main event, Khamzat Chimaev weighed in 185.5 pounds for his middleweight contender with Kamaru Usman, who hit 184.5 pounds for what is his debut in the weight class in the UFC.
Elsewhere on the card, two fighters, Mike Breeden and Victoria Dudakova, missed their marks on the scales. Both will be fined percentages of their purses but their fights are expected to proceed as planned.
