The UFC’s return to Sydney, Australia is official following Friday morning’s weigh-in Down Under.
The two men in the main event, middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis and title challenger (and former champion) Sean Strickland both successfully hit their marks on the scale, as did the competitors in the women’s strawweight co-main, Zhang Weili and Tatiana Suarez.
However, there was one casualty on the card after it was confirmed just prior to the start of the weigh-in window that the prelim card opener between HyunSung Park and Nyamjargal Tumendemberel had been removed from the card.
Elsewhere, no one else on the (what is now a) 12-fight card missed weight ahead of the kick-off of the fight card late tomorrow night.
