The eyes of the mixed martial arts world will be keenly fixed to the July 10th rubber match between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier in what will be a pivotal bout in the UFC’s lightweight fold.
With the scores between the two 155-pound rivals currently standing at one apiece, McGregor has promised a “flawless” performance when the two men square off in the UFC 264 main event in front of a capacity crowd inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
July 10th I will do this absolutely flawlessly. We have these clowns sussed and fully! 🤡 🤡 🤡 💣
They wanna play a game of tactics?
No problem, see you in there.
You’ve awoken a beast.
A beast with the backing of a much higher power!
Say your prayers 🙏— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) May 6, 2021
“July 10th I will do this absolutely flawlessly,” McGregor wrote on Twitter. “We have these clowns sussed and fully! They wanna play a game of tactics? No problem, see you in there. You’ve awoken a beast. A beast with the backing of a much higher power! Say your prayers.”
The winner of the July fight won’t just just gain bragging rights in the pair’s years-long rivalry, but will be well placed to challenge the winner of this month’s showdown for the vacant world title between Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira.
